Fine Bone China Bathroom Wall Lights

Fine Bone China Bathroom Wall Lights
Designed to Glow
The bathroom is rarely where craftsmanship announces itself — and yet it is one of the most personal spaces in a home. Lyngard's fine bone china bathroom wall lights are made to change that.

Each shade is formed from fine bone china: a material long associated with English ceramic tradition, chosen here for the particular quality of light it produces. Warm, diffused and gentle rather than glaring or flat.
IP44 Rated for Bathrooms

The fixtures are cast in solid brass, worked to a finish that deepens over time. All bathroom pieces carry an IP44 rating, making them suitable for zones 2 and 3.
Whether positioned either side of a mirror or set lower along a tiled wall, they bring to the bathroom the same quiet authority that good lighting brings to any well-composed room.
Handcrafted in Stoke-on-Trent
Each light is handcrafted to order in our Stoke-on-Trent factory — manufactured and assembled in England, finished by hand.
FAQS
What does IP44 mean, and where can these lights be used?
IP44 is an ingress protection rating indicating that a fitting is protected against solid objects larger than 1mm and against water splashing from any direction. For bathrooms, this makes them suitable for zone 2 (within 0.6 metres of a bath or shower) and zone 3 (the general bathroom area). Lyngard's IP44-rated wall lights carry this classification without compromise to the quality of the fitting or the delicacy of the fine bone china shade.
How does fine bone china affect the quality of light?
Fine bone china is naturally translucent — light passes through it rather than bouncing off. This gives Lyngard shades a softness that is difficult to replicate with glass or synthetic materials. In the bathroom, where ambient light matters as much as task lighting, the effect is a warm, even glow that flatters both the space and its occupants.
Are the fittings made to order?
Yes. Every Lyngard light is made to order in our Stoke-on-Trent factory. Bespoke requests — finishes, can often be accommodated for trade and residential projects alike.
What finish are the brass fixtures available in?
The fixtures are made from solid brass. We do not use plated finishes, except for nickel. The brass is worked and finished by hand, and will develop a natural patina with age — something we consider a quality of the material rather than a flaw.
