The Campbell Époque Florale is handcrafted at Lyngard's factory in Stoke-on-Trent, formed from fine bone china ceramic and decorated entirely by hand using traditional ceramic techniques refined over generations. When illuminated, the shade reveals its full character — light filtering through the porcelain to cast a soft, atmospheric glow that lends warmth and presence to hallways, drawing rooms, and living spaces.

The Pattern

Époque Florale began with a discovery: a length of vintage 1920s fabric, retrieved from a French château. The pattern — a dense, layered floral composition — had the particular gravity of things made before speed became a virtue. Lyngard's designers spent months translating it into a ceramic language, adapting it for the Campbell form without diminishing its original authority.

The Claret Colourway

The Claret is the most demanding of the Époque Florale colourways to produce. Its depth of colour — a resonant, burnished red with an almost interior luminosity — is achieved using real gold, reduced and refined until it yields the precise pigment Lyngard were searching for. The result cannot be replicated by conventional means.

Finished with solid brass fittings, the Campbell Époque Florale is a considered object — made slowly, to last.
